Welcome Guests & Visitors
The Skowhegan Sportsmans Club is a private, member-oriented facility.
While our ranges are primarily for our members, we recognize the value of sharing Our Mission with others.
We welcome guests accompanied by members, as well as the general public for our special events.
🗓️ Public Events
The public is warmly invited to attend all of our scheduled club events unless noted otherwise.
You do not need to be a member or accompanied by a member to participate in specific calendar events that are open to the public.

👥 Visiting as a Range Guest
If you are visiting the shooting ranges as a guest of a current club member, our member is responsible to oveersee your visit and provide range rules- please review our mandatory guest policies below:
- Member Supervision: All guests, family members, and individuals under the age of 18 must be under the direct, constant supervision of the hosting member at all times.
- Guest Limit: Members are strictly limited to a maximum of 2 guests per visit.
- 3-Visit Maximum: A guest may visit the range a maximum of 3 times. After the third visit, you are expected to apply for your own club membership to continue using the facilities.
- Liability Forms: All guests must fill out and sign a Liability Form during every single visit, without exception.
- Range Rules: Members are responsible for reviewing all official Range Rules with their guests before handling any firearms or stepping onto the firing line. Rules are located in About Club section under documents.
📋 Before You Arrive
- Ensure your hosting member is with you unless it is for a Public Scheduled Event
- Complete your Liability Form at the clubhouse/range check-in.
- Review the full Range Rules located on this website, our ranges and in the clubhouse
Be sure you have Safety Glasses on while on Range and to use Hearing Protection.
